Nuvara — Privacy Policy

Nuvara ("the app", "we", "our") is a self-awareness and habit-tracking app focused on psychogenic erectile function and related habits. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Local-first: your data stays on your device

Nuvara does not require an account and does not operate a backend server. All of the information you enter in the app is stored only in a local database on your device, including:

• Your daily check-ins (mood, stress, sleep, exercise, erection ratings, medication use, free-text notes)
• Your onboarding questionnaire answers and the resulting profile
• Activity programs and their progress
• Annotations you add on the calendar/history
• App settings (language, date format, notification preferences, app lock preference)

We do not have access to this data, cannot see it, and do not transmit it anywhere. If you uninstall the app, this data is permanently deleted from your device along with it. There is no cloud backup or sync built into the app.

App lock (PIN / biometrics)

If you enable the optional app lock, your PIN and biometric unlock preference are stored using your device's own secure storage (Android Keystore). Nuvara never sees, stores, or transmits your actual fingerprint, face, or other biometric data — that is handled entirely by your device's operating system.

Advertising

Nuvara shows ads (a banner and occasional interstitial ads) served through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google's AdMob SDK may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, general device information, and approximate location, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps. This is the only category of data that leaves your device through normal use of the app.

On supported Android versions, you can reset or opt out of personalized advertising through your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads.

What we don't do

• We don't require sign-up or collect your name, email, or phone number.
• We don't run our own analytics or crash-reporting services.
• We don't sell or share your check-in data, notes, or questionnaire answers with anyone — we never have access to it in the first place.

Children's privacy

Nuvara deals with adult sexual health topics and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly allow use by, or collect information from, children under the age applicable in your country.

Not a medical service

Nuvara is not a medical app and does not provide diagnoses or medical advice. It is a self-awareness tool intended to help you observe your own patterns over time. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional to rule out or address physical causes.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the app evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
